Along with curating the Maker Faire Africa exhibit, I facilitated three, full-day workshops hosted by MFA inventors.  These afforded local residents an opportunity to experience the ethos of African making for themselves:  "Hawkerology: a New Model for Distributed Design & Manufacturing" w/ Nigerian entrepreneur, Chika Okafor, "Live Blackboard Blogging" w/ Liberian reporter, Alfred Sirleaf, and "C-Stunners: Upcycled Eyewear" with Kenyan artist, Cyrus Kabiru.
